Okay, so everyone knows that Tom Riddle is the heir of Salazar Slytherin. How is this? Tom Riddle had a muggle father, and Slytherins are pure bloods? Wtf. :0

Tom Riddles mother was the last direct descendant of Salazar Slitherin. She had a father and a brother but both died without producing any more progeny. Tom Riddle didn't produce progeny either, so he's the last of the line, and therefore the only person with direct lineage.
