Harry Potter pros-- How do the movies differ from the books?

Sorry. I love Potter movies, but I just don't
have any time to read the books. I have
too many others to read, right now. But I'd
like to know how the books differ from the
flicks because I suspect the books are
much better, (books usually are). Thanks!
 
The books ARE much better, hands down.

Well, here are some fun little facts:

The Harry Potter movies are shorter then a chapter book, so there is LOTS of stuff they left out, even if they spent lots of time making it.
Did you know that they started adding little bits that weren`t in the books at all? Its true.

Plus all kinds of stuff I can`t even list here.
 
Well...... From my experience as reading then watching the movies.... the books are WAYYYY better than the movies. I still like the movies very much, but the movies leave out pretty major parts of the books. (in my opinion) So I would read the books when you get a minute or listen to the audio books..... very good
