Harley davidson question?

I just got done with the msf course, we used buell blasts a metric bike and i'm use to leaning deep into the corners and not worrying about all that weight. I wouldn't think you could corner and lean good on a harley, i'm thinking of gettin a sportster 1200 custom 2010 since it's the lighter of the bikes and still has alot of Crome. But it seems so top heavy and I don't feel comfortable at all test driving one after being on a blast. What are the things i'm going to have to learn to ride a Harley, and how diff is it from metrics. Give me some tips to keep that top heavy front wheel raked out basterd off the ground pls
Who the hell is Bart?

First off the Buell ANYTHING is NOT a metric. They are made by Eric Buells company and are an American company.

Every bike you will ever own will feel different than any other bike you have ever owned or will ever own. They each have their own quirks. I never thought about a Sporty being "Top heavy" but to each his/her own.

If you are not comfortable with the 1200 Sporty then what about the 883? What about a Buell? What about a Victory, all American made bikes?

Here's a nutty idea: if you really think of it as a "that top heavy front wheel raked out basterd" then don't buy one. Stay on the metrics and leave the Harleys to the grown-ups....moron.

.Start off slow and get used to the bike before you get to cocky, they are not that heavy and you can master it with practice.
I am happy to hear you attended the msf course.
