HARLEY-DAVIDSON HAMMOCK TOURING SEAT Issue

Does anyone who has this hammock touring seat have any issues with it? I heard that it sets you up an inch higher. Any control difference with the bike? Any difference with the wind coming over the wind shield? Problems? Praises? Install issues with a 2008 Ultra?

Sets a little higher than stock, maybe an inch. Best seat my a$$ has been in since I started riding.(that was in 1973)

It is higher than stock (@ 1 1/2 " over the new "low" standard) which I like... Gives me a more comfortable leg position. The back seat slopes slightly down though, so the passenger tends to slide forward all the time. My wife says it's less comfy for her because of that.

I recommend sitting on one before buying. Your dealer should be willing to put one on a floor bike for you to sit on, even if he won't let you ride it.

Seats are such a personal preference. Personally, I do not care for the Hammock seat at all. To flat for my taste, doesnt have enough back support, putting drivers backrest on it did not make much of a difference. One of the worst seats I ever tried.
