Harley-Davidson engine heat?

Hi all,

Someone told me that when you go for long ride, you feel the heat from the engine (specially for hot countries like where I am - Saudi Arabia) .. and I have to stop from time to time to cool down the engine .. is that true ?
 
I would use an oil cooler with genuine Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle Synthetic Motor Oil, and ride it, the air moving thru the cyl fins will keep it cool.
 
Nope. the engines of a herley are normally air colled,as long as you remain at low rpm's, then the air catches will do their job.
Just dont over rev.
