Harley BOOM speakers are well worth it.

Removal of the fairing is necessary to take out the old and put in the new. Did it last year. Doing a search on this forum I learned all the tricks needed to get the shark nose off and on. I have done it 3 times now.

side by side here at the J&M audio trailer at the Sturgis motorcycle rally ,,,,

two 2010 Road Glides with stock Harley HK radios, no amps ,,,,,, one with the new Harley BOOM speakers with single grill mounted tweeter ,,,, other with the J&M 7.25" speaker upgrade, with grill mounted tweeter and midrange ,,,,,,

same CD ,,,,, same volume settings on radios ,,,,,

the bike with the J&M's had significantly more bass and just a lot more sound in general,,,,,,

the opinion was unanimous among 5 different guys all standing around the bikes ,,,,,

I've heard two sets that were on salemen's RG's and they didnt distort at all, not even at max volume. I'm going to add some when I do my bars.(shhhh, wifey dont know)

Okay so while I agree that the J&M 7.25's have fantastic bass with or without their amp but then I heard H-D's new Boom! Audio™ Ultra Boom! Bagger Kit:

and holy bass! This kit has their new Bass Booster kit which you can actually purchase separately (works with or without the H-D 4-channel amp) that uses the tour pak as an enclosure and pumps up the bass big time!

I'm glad you posted this.

Here is the kit for those who already have installed the Boom rear speakers, but want more bass:

I would love to know what you guys think if anyone buys it. I have an 09 EGC and I'm thinking of upgrading the sound system over the winter; this new bass-booster kit could be a game changer. Let me know.

I would be very interested to see how much bass you get while moving just seems the subwoofers wouldn't do much in the bags at speed
