If you do, let us know the difference. I am unsure which speakers I want. It will either be the Boom or the J&M 7.25". I have heard and installed the Boom's on another bike but haven't heard the 7.25's.

I would use the money towards the J&M amp instead of buying new speakers.

Wise idea. We all run the J&M amp, Hogtunes tweeter pod and the 7.25"'s and the sound is incredible. Cheap they are not, but well worth every time you get on the bike.

Heard them on an 09 Ultra that had all 4 installed.They sound great in the parking lot.Owner still had problems hearing the radio over engine and wind noise without an amp.I had invested $600.00 + in Titan 6.5" speakers,Arc amp,and Sony head unit on my '08 EG. before I was even close to satisfied going down the road.Finally found the perfect answer to my listening needs,a new Limited and a $35.00 set of noise cancelling ear buds.Concert hall quality sound at 1/3 volume and hardly any back ground noise.

I would put it towards the new high powered HogTunes amp. J&M will never get another dime of my money.

I've had hog tunes now J and M 7.25's...I have yet to have a set of speakers that have any bass whatsoever. Loud, clear crisp yes.....but where is the bass?

Yes I've turned up my bass on my radio. It still has no bass...
The guy who invents a mini bass tube is going to make a few bucks!

I almost made through a week without spending more cash. Gotta try the boom speakers fro the price thank a lot....LOL
