Hard to breathe

Hello.

I'm having trouble to breath as of late. I'm overweight and have asthma (I was diagnosed with it over 10 years ago, but it has never been a problem for me, ever), but I do still use my inhailer. I'm a user of cannabis aswell, I've only done it a few times (6 times in 3 months) and weeks apart from each time. Last time I did it was 2 weeks before this post. I've had a random cough here and there for about 6 months (3 months before i took cannabis). I execise every day, I bike over 6.5 miles (not a lot, but it's something)

About 4 days ago, I've been a bit short of breath, but I do not know why. I've stopped taking cannabis incase that was the problem (although my shortness of breath did start a week after i did it last). I've been using my blue inhailer more often, although it does not seem to help, and I take deep breaths aswell.

I'm not sure what has caused it. I think it might be a habbit of I got myself into, and now it's affecting my breathing. I don't think it's cannabis because why would it effect me now all of a sudden just like that? Would it be that I sometimes slouch which can put a strain on my lungs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Could it possibly be pollen allergy? Does it come on while you've been outside, or after you've been outside?

This pollen season is the worst in several decades, and it has actually caused me to develop asthma for the first time in my life. For days I felt like someone was sitting on my chest, then I went to the doctor and got put on an inhaled steroid (not the same as a rescue inhaler) and I'm feeling much better now.

And, iPilot? Even if the smoking isn't the cause, it could irritate your lungs and make it worse, so probably best to continue avoiding it.

Hi there, thank you for the reply.

The shortness of breath doesnt seem to happen unless i think about it, and it comes in sessions. Like, I'd think about it, and I'd be short of breath for a while, then it will go for hours on end. I've also quit smoking btw (stopped the last time I did it).

For the pollen allergy, would it be best to take antihistamines?
