i would just like to know is there any one out there who has to take a deep breath to breath and yawn to let some air in their lungs i am really getting sick of this problem, i have aslo noticed that my back hurts me as well when i carnt breath proberly and the only way to breath is to crack my back that relives the breathing a little bit is there any one out there with the same thing, i have had this for many many years. thank you all so much

This is referred to as Air Hunger - difficulty getting air in as opposed to asthma where the difficulty is getting air out. I have tried many things for this over the years. I have recently heard that Muellin and Motherwort tincture are very helpful (if you're into more alternative remedies). Breathing in a paper bag helps some people but never worked for me. Oh, and I also have a Salt Pipe which is somewhat helpful.

Do you have this "labored" breathing all the time, 24 hours per day? Are there certain times when your breathing is much better, or is it bad all the time, without any relief?

hello, no i dont have this problem all the time it comes on when not expected i can have days or weeks or months without it happening, but when it comes it lasts for a about a week 24/7 at times its so hard to breath i take such a deep breath i almost pass out, but what i have realised is when it happenens i usually always have a upset stomach a bit of reflux and then i crack my back and then i can breath its funny i dont know y this happens, but since i had 2 total disc replacements in my back 6 months ago it has gotton alot worse. thank you for your concern and reply.
