Has anyone put this exhaust on their C90? Curious on sound, really like the looks but I am not looking for an extremely loud set of pipes, just a nice deep rumble.

Yes, I have and then after I started the bike and ran it they came right off. They are only loud when accelerating in 1st and 2nd, otherwise it is a nice deep rumble. To me the sound was great. You may be asking yourself "why did vinnie take them right off?" Well, because the fit of the cans to the headers was terrible. The mistake I made, and if you buy these pipes don't make this mistake is that I started and ran the bike with the pipes on. I was just too excited to resist any better judgment.:fight2:

If you buy from a Internet retailer you are also dealing with a distributor that works with the manufacturer. Parts Unlimited is the distributor and DG Performance is the manufacturer. By starting the bike with the pipes on the distributor and manufacturer void any warranty. So now you will have to fight to get this substandard product fixed and don

happy you did vent, I like the looks of their product, but for the money you'd think they have a good product too. That & have a little better customer service.

Yeah. Sorry about the problems with DG.

I'm glad to see you guys are believers in the 2:1 exhaust cult!

Don't give up. There are other products out there. I believe Cobra, and Vance and Hines might have a set for your bikes.

Good luck!

Cobra and Roadhouse each have 2:1 and at about 2 bills less. The Roadhouse looks unique. I think the headers are made from flexible pipe, the are ribbed anyway. I have seen it before on home made pipes, cheap, easy to make and chrome. I have to admit though that DG really did a great job with the look of the pipes. Thats what caught me in the first place. I am sure that there are many others that had no problem at all and maybe my little story will turn out ok. But for now I am pissed that I spent 6 bills for pipes 6 weeks ago and I am still stuck with my stocks.

Liken my Cobras.... sound great look sweet, added the PCIII usb and woke her right up.....:bluethum:

Not a great pic I couldn't get far enough back but these pipes are awesome....:bluethum:

Wish I would have bought the cobras!! Still looks great and less money if I remember correctly. Probably an easier fit and no customer service problems?

My pipes were remade and chromed last week. They shipped yesterday which is great but they were sent to Conniticut which is not great as I live in FRICKIN MINNESOTA!! DG has lost a customer for life!!

Great looking pipes PNW rider. I also notice you removed the pair valve? How did that go? I just found a site that has detailed instructions and a kit to boot.

It was very easy. I got the Mocc's kit and followed his simple instructions with no problems at all. Took about 15 minutes.

The pipes were really easy too, took about a half hour and about to remove the stock pipes and collector and about the same to install the new pipes.. they sound GREAT!!! The power Commander III usb was also a very easy install, it took me longer to remove and reinstall the fake tank than it did to program and install the Commander...

By the way I got my pipes brand new off e-bay for under 250 SHIPPED :bluethum:

It looks like the crease on the cans is off center like mine but not nearly as bad. Looks really nice though. Mine are due to arrive tomorrow. I am crossing my fingers that they fit this time. It will have been four weeks tomorrow that I sent them back. Can't believe that they sent them to CT, back to CA and now hopefully to MN. Those cans have more miles than I can put on my bike in a year!! Did you do the install or have it done?

I have a question, just ordered the Fi2000R, what settings do you have yours set at? Since we have the same size bike, was curious if you changed any of the settings

Nope, left them as is. If you read the instructions there is more advanced tuning but after I installed it did not see any need to make any changes. I would think that the only real way to get max power would be to put the bike on a dyno, too much trouble.
