... All my precious drawings... Gone... Except the ones I already had posted on the internets... *SIGH* I feel so... Unmotivated now...

I did in a way... I have a few on thumb drives and some on the internet on art sites. Just the ones I was working on and hadn't finished yet alot of work was put into them... Are forever vanished in the dead zone.

Something similar happened to me one time. I was working on a research paper and my fucking hard drive crashes and I lost all of it.

I lost my temper and threw my monitor into a brick wall.
I'm still using that monitor.

One tough fucking monitor.

Spin rite 5.0 saved one of my hardrives enough to get the shit i needed off of it.

It's not free though (I think) and may not work for you. They are up to 6.0 now too.
