I am so happy today. My story is very similar to most, I had an injury and was sent by work to a pain doctor years ago. I got hooked on my pain meRAB and was told by me Pain Doc when I asked why I couldn't stop taking my meRAB without serious withdrawal, of yawning, cold chills, stomach problems etc.. He informed me it wasn't my meRAB at all but I must be getting the flu!! BS. I went to a therapist because I hated the way hydrocodone made me feel. I felt dead and without a soul. Life had zero meaning etc. I finally got to a good doctor who prescribes me suboxone. I lost her for a couple months because she was over her federal mandated allowed nuraber. During that time, I was having to go daily and be "dosed" like the methadone people do. I have never been on methadone. I hated it only because it was so time consuming, and because people in line constantly asked for money. Well Today, Iam back with her. My prescription is filled for a month with 1 and 1/2 8mgs per day! And the best part is my insurance covered the medication. I paid a whopping $30.00!!! Wow. Granted I paid $50.00 to the Doc. and last week had to pay 100.00 for the therapists. It is awesome to finally be getting the insurance company to pay the cost of the drug. It is Anthem. Sorry to babble on. Not sure how to get started here. Looks like I am in good company.

Hello xbobaddict,

I too, am very happy to be on Suboxone. It saved my life. I can live a normal life, not a slave to those pain pills anymore. Life has meaning again.

Thanks for sharing :)
