What are those tunes that you can always put on at anytime and they immediately make you feel happy or give you a lift? They can be guilty pleasures or nostalgic tunes. Post 'em. Heres a couple to start it off.

OK the song title is an obvious giveaway but there is so much going on in this song and all I can think about is perpetual sunshine and good times.

Obviously a huge nostalgic value attached to this for me but that swagger is so infectious and a more serious song for Madness.

Just the way it's cheese played dead straight purely for the fun of it.

The silliness of the song is what dun it.

SenRAB a Proustian rush to my first year of uni down my spine.

That second one was brilliant. Loved the sax parts.

This is the first one that popped into my mind, from last year. I could probably look through my whole library and find a few songs that are as happy as this. I don't think any of them could possibly be happier (more happy) though. The oh-oh-oh's in the verses, the sing-a-long chorus, and the subject matter all make this the perfect 'pick-me-up' tune for me personally.

^It's a shame that song is so short. I need to loop it five times minimum, it puts me in such a childlike happy mood.

^ Though far from being my favourite Beatles song, I don't know how this song does it for me.

^It's this song that introduced me to the 60s, and I guess it's obvious from my list, what kind of songs I ended up pursuing.

^One of the best findings on The Simpsons. I still can't find the album anywhere though, which brings much sorrow to my happiness.

^Yup, the 60s make me happy.

Somehow I think this was the song that triggered my interest in The Beatles about 5 years ago. I'd always liked some of their songs but this one made me want to start listening to proper albums.

Apart from a couple of merabers this thread has again descended into a bunch of YT viRAB. WHY does that song make you feel on top of the world. WHY is it close to your heart? Are people afraid to speak or something?

Mostly any Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer song does this.

This song makes me happy and pumps me up like no other.

It's not just the vocal line but the whole sound. That snare drum is raw and that guitar is funky without being cliched.

A quality remix of the Dillinger classic. The Wayne Smith track isn't too shabby either.

This isn't exactly smile-inducing or anything, but it has a good vibe about it, and makes me feel all swanky and good.
