Handy Tools Pro, anybody using it? Your thoughts???

Of the programs in the Handy Tools package I use Handy Weather, Keylock and Taskman. I think the programs are really useful.

I got the package for free, but if I had to pay, I probably would have bought Weather and Taskman. There is free keylock software available. So my advice is to decide if you need/are going to use all of the programs. In that case I would say it's worth it.

Handy Clock is awesome too, I totally love it. Stopwatch+Timer+Multiple Alarm. Handy Taskman is great, but it leaves my Contacts and Gallery running even though I exit them. Handy Weather is so so for me. The rest aren't all that useful (I find Handy Expense pointless).

From Epocware I use:

Handy Keylock - Best option for N80 since it includes the option to lock the keys when slider is closed.

Handy Alarm - Only Alarm with snooze and no MM key bug.

Handy Weather - Excellent app, love it.

Handy Taskman - I still prefer Best Taskman but I like that you can activate it by holding the menu key. If Best Taskman did this, I'd get rid of Handy Taskman.

Handy Safe - Definitely the best option for an app of it's kind.

If you're planning on putting Handy Clock on an N80 then don't do it because your battery life will suffer greatly. Other than that it's a nice app.

Bottom line is that all Epocware software is excellent. My advice: use the trial, play with the apps. You'll end up buying them.

Go to Mysymbian. There they have on offer 20-25% discount. Plus there is extra discount
if you by bundled Handy wares. All in that'll make in the region of 40 -50% discount.
Handy safe is a must have and it comes with a desktop version too. Handy clock all arounder clock/timer/alarm/countdown comes with free keypad autolock and a very nice calender screensaver, good one too. Handy Taskmen very good to kill apps that wont close. Only thing about it is it show available ram 23mb after reboot whereas profimail shows ram as 33mb. Wonder which is correct. One other thing with Handy Taskman, when you close all running apps you can never get back the full 23mb ram.

Others no point to me at least

I use HandySafe, HandyClock (HandyAlarm with a lot more options), HandyTaskman. All of them are great apps. I was so happy when they finally updated HandySafe. The fact that handysafe syncs with your desktop makes it one of the best apps they offer right from the start.

Looks like i've got the same problem with draining power on my E61!
I use to be able to run my e61 from 6am to 11pm after which i'm left 1 bar. I know others are getting 2 days easily. This is bcos i have IMplus, Profimail running all the time.

lately with handy clock installed my power would drop to 60-80% by noon.

Now after uninstall handy Clock the power is back to normal but i'll need to wait a few more days to really confirm this

Yeah, but which processes?
Say you were just using the multi alarms (no screensaver) in Handy Clock; what difference would it be then from Handy Alarm?
