Yesterday I picked up my new car, 03 reg Ford Fiesta Finesse 1.4 diesel. Drove it for a good 50 miles yesterday and had no problems. I went out his morning and we'd had a pretty cold night, it took me a good ten minutes to get deiced and defrosted. I went to pull away and my handbrake lever was jammed on. I assumed it might have been a frozen cable, so I sat with my engine on for another ten minutes to see if it would defrost, but still nothing. The button on the level won't go fully in, and it won't budge at all.
Could it just be very frozen, or is something else wrong?
The car came with 2 months warranty and had a fresh MOT & service at the beginning of the week, and they just changed the break pads.
