hand to hand combat training the military teach?

I need to know how advanced is the hand to hand training. Do they teach you to tango with lions?

No a lion would kick your ass they are pretty big and have sharp claws and razor sharp teeth and they are just mean my advice dont fight lions

You will be taught how to defend agiast another human and it will be taught by showing the most effective strikes and holds nothing flashy only what gets the job done like i say trust in the training your selected service gives you and you will be fine

For more in depth i am under the assumption that the army now teaches everyone the 75th ranger hand to hand combat system... but you know what they say about assuming stuff

None of it is really that advanced since your main focus is going to be on weapons. When it comes to war hand to hand is really outdated so you only learn the basics to defend yourself when necessary. If you're looking to kick somebodies ass take martial arts or something.
