I fell 9 weeks ago at work my hand hurting still swollen had a MRI done nothing abnormal showed up on the MRI but the result did say Mild subcutaneous adema of the webspace between the fourth and fifth digits and dorsal witch in laman terms fluid retaining between ring fingure and pinky but then it also says aspect between the first and second digits of uncertain etiology may be sequelae from prior trauma...well my question is first and second digits are thumb and index finger where i feel at and where is still swollen and i have never had any prior truma to this hand what so ever therefore sense it was 7 weeks after the fall when the MRI was done could it be possible that the (uncertian etiology) be from this injury sense i have never had anyother injury to this hand?
