Well I've known this for quite a while but never posted a question on here, but have any of you that have played Halo ever see the movie Aliens (part of the Alien saga)? I guess the creators of Halo were fans of that movie because that's where a large chunk of the human soldiers' dialogue and even gear comes from. I laughed for a good 10 minutes when I first made the connection, with my dad just staring at me when we watched Aliens one day (I'm 16).
Side note: Haven't played Halo 3 yet, but I still want to know how it all goes down lol. Post either 'yes' or 'no' if it's worth getting without that Xbox Live thing.
