Halloween rip off

Seems to be a blatent rip off of Halloween.

I was wondering if it's good as an enjoyable "b movie".

Or is it just dreadful?

Don't forget Halloween was itself inspired by Black Christmas.

The fact that it's made by The Asylum guys is warning enough that it'll be a steaming pile of horse manure. They churn out 'rip oRAB', they've made terrible rip oRAB of Terminator, Alien, Predator to name a few. Their films are terrible.

Inspired is hardly the same as ripoff like the film mentioned in this post. Both very different brilliant films.

Yes I know. Black Christmas was made before Halloween.
I'm not being snobby about films taking from other films.
I love "b movie" culture. That's why I'm open minded to watching this!

I was just wondering what this is like. I'v watched "bad movies" all my life but recent ones from America have been unbearable. (For example the type of movies shown on the UK horror channel when it first started. And the movies released on the Hard Gore dvd label) They seem to be made by a group of poeple who where bought a video camera for christmas.
