Halloween has gone from scary to cartoony

First off, the most kick ass costume ever is being a ninja turtle. I was one when they were popular for no other reason than they ate pizza, shows you my age.
Second, I've been in a slutty halloween costume myself before... kindof uncomfortable... though I did notice alot of people staring.
Basically, I'm saying to all of you who are complaining about it, don't knock it til you try it.
 
Good point. When I started trick-or-treating my parents told me we hadto be scary. I dressed up like a prisoner, frankenstein, a ninja etc. But Teenagers are getting the best from halloween when they wake up next morning from the kegger the night before and find a picture of them with a fat bitch on their cell phone, they really can only say happy halloween..

it's because halloween has gone from a holiday to another of businesses to make money. those blow up things and all kids getting candy happens because these businesses want more money! if there were a ton of things that looked like ghosts mummies and other scary things do you think all those little kids that are addicted to candy will go out at night? hell no because they're too scared. so now everythings all cartoony so more kids come out if more kids come out more candy is needed if more cansy is needed more money is made. GO JUDIASM!!!!! lol
 
I like dress-up, and outside of SCA events and the annual Renaissance Faire, Halloween gives me another opportunity to put on fancy clothes and a snood.

Of course, I also think of the Betty Business power suit as a costume, so there are scary people out there every day of the year.
