ok is this rude or not?
i work at a salon as a hair stylist and i cut and did the usual blow dry. now she made me change her hair 3x (communication not SO good bc she is not speaking english as her 1st language, so i didnt mind) anyways, she wanted it flat ironed next, thats an extra service, so i told her i would charge extra as it would be extra work..she got mad kinda so i said, "ok since there was a miscommunication ill do it this time no charge" which there really wasnt a miscommunication, she never tol dme she wanted a flat iron in the beginning..
so anyways ended up being a 2 hour job bc she was so picky etc.. when i can usually do cut, blow dry and flat iron in 1 hour..
so she paid and gave me a 3 dollar tip. i felt like giving it back to her and saying "damn i gave you free of charge extra service, worked on your hair for 2 hours and you give me 3 dollars, what do you want me to do buy a pepsi?" seriously, some people are so cheap.. & she told me she "loved" her
hair and said "thanks for your patience" damn, wouldnt u think i deserved a bigger tip for the favors i did her? next time i feel like i dont want to be so nice to a client and just charge them extra, wouldnt u???
