Haircut tips? I'm entering high school and...?

I am getting a haircut next wednesday, but i want to change up my style a little, since im entering high school in september. I currently have long straight hair with angles, and want to keep my hair long. any ideas?? thanks in advance below is a link to a pic of my current cut
