I have naturally curly, frizzy, and wavy hair. It's very much like a perm, and condenses to my shoulders. In reality, when I straighten it (which is always), it goes to the middle of my back. I need a hair cut to get rid of split ends, but I realize that to keep them from returning I have to keep my hair away from heat. However, I have no idea how to style my hair in its natural state. When dry and unstraightened, it can't be brushed or it will frizz into an afro.
Should I go through with cutting my hair, but keep straightening it? Should I cut it and try not to straighten it as much? If so, what would you recommend I do with my hair in its natural state?
