Basically I was a bleach blonde, and I wanted to dye it a sort of deep reddy-brown, but I didn't want to put that on top of bleach as it would be way too bright so I thought I'd slowly darken it, so bought a sort of honey blonde dye to put all over so it was a darker blonde.
Problem is I only looked at the picture, didn't read the name of it until it was too late - metallic silver blonde.
IT WAS GREY!
The picture was WAY off to be fair, it's false advertising!
Anyway I was grey, and as I'm only 17 I don't think I'm quite ready for that yet! So I decided I couldn't go to work looking like this so I went to ASDA and bought a temporary mid-brown (a little bit darker than my natural dark blonde hair) and whacked that on top of it. Seeing as I shampooed it about 4/5 times it's now stripped of oil, and very dry from the "metallic silver blonde" (!) and isn't even shiny.
I know it will eventually fade but I'm worried what it's gonna leave behind! Anyway, I'm wondering how I should go about getting it in better condition so that I can go to the salon and get it dyed a nice red, as it's still light enough to take the colour.
Are you following this? Lol.
Anyway yeah, I'm getting it cut in a couple of weeks so that should get rid of some of the dead ends.
I just wanna speed up the process as I feel I've set myself back somewhat.
Help please!
Thanks x
