Hail to the Mafia, could an outsider get some advice?

I'd like to apologize to the moRAB for posting this here and not the carriers subforum, but the Mafia guys are leaps and bounRAB beyond everyone else regarding problems like this. I'm on a regional carrier as well and I've flashed and configured a few different phones for wap now. However the mms nightmare is a challenge. My test platform is a Moto Q9 running the latest Verizon firmware update. I was able to obtain the mmsc settings from the carrier, Revol and have got it working.....sort of. I can send, not receive and when I send the from address is coming up as an IP address @mms.revol.us not my phone nuraber. Also the content of the message is getting lost somewhere. The subject will be whatever I type and there will be an attachment that I haven't found a program that will open it yet. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

sound like u got registry settings off somewhere..... and thats pretty hard to troubleshoot on a board honestly. especially since we (or at least I) are not familiar with the carrier and the settings that should be there.

Larry I appreciate not closing the thread. The guys in the mafia are literally years ahead of what I'm trying to do here and my carrier Revol was actually started with some old Cricket guys.

Insane would you be willing to chat about this off the forum. I've been all through the registry and have the same feeling that here is something I'm missing. I'd really like to conquer this as there's a push email app that utilizes mms as its transport mechanism.
