Had upper endoscopy Wednesday...Heartburn every day since.

I had an upper endoscopy Wednesday which I haven't gotten the full report from. My follow up appointment is Wednesday this week. All I know now is that the doctor found irritation in my esophagus, which he took biopsies of, but I don't know how bad. Since I had the procedure I've been having, what feels like heartburn, everyday. Before the endoscopy I'd only had heartburn maybe 3-4 times. Also, my back has been aching as well. Wondering if this has something to do with the biopsy or the procedure irritating my esophagus?...Or maybe it's just that I'm having more reflux as the meRAB I'm on haven't been helping and I have been taking them for a month now. Any thoughts?
 
The endoscope might have irritated your esophagus, but that should go away if it is only irritation from the endoscopy.
