Had to restore Iphone and now its UNjailbroken.. Now what?

Yesterday my phone froze for a hour then it went to the black screen with the little apple. I tried plugging it into Itunes and it did not recognize my phone.. Im not going to bore you with the details but I ended up having to restore it back to its factory settings.. Now I dunno what to do next? The phone is originally with ATT U.S And I have been using in in Canada with telus.. Now the only option the phone gives me is to place a emergency call and it shows the picture running the USB to Itunes.. when I plug it in it tells me my Sim card is invalid to activate the phone i need one from the original carrier.. NOW what the hell do I do?!?! does anyone have any knowledge on rejailbreaking the phone or what do I need to do?
 
Rejailbreak using a proper jailbreaking program for the corropsonding OS. Use a back up to restore apps and settings you originally had and your non AT&T carrier should work after jailbreaking.

example; 3.1.2 firmware can use the blackra1n jaikbreak on Windows OS.
