Had sex with my best friend, should i tell my girlfriend?

I've been with this girl now for about 10 months and the other night i got really drunk with a friend of mine (who's a guy) and we ended up having sex. i don't know what to do but he thinks we should tell her, but obviously it's not the same as if it was with another girl. what do you think i should do? thanks.
I'm definitely not gay, i love her more than anything but i was drinking really heavily that night and drinking games have got out of hand in the past but not to this extent. i dunno if i can bring myself to tell her.
 
i wouldnt tell her unless you plan on doing it again. you were drunk. these things happen.
 
The only thing at all that you can do is tell her. I don't know if your gay or a lesbian, but either way your girlfriend need to know about what you did it is really wrong and nasty for you to cheat, but everyone respects an honest person. So the only way to walk out of this situation with some pride is for you to be a man (or woman) and tell her yourself because there is nothing worse than to have someone tell your secret. Tell her. It's better it comes from you than from someone else. Tell her is was a drunken thing and it wont happen again.

How does one end up sleeping with a friend of the same sex? No amount of alcohol could convince me to do the same. Dude, I would just quit right now and never swallow another drop, as for telling the gf...

You should tell her. She deserves to know. If you love her at all, you'll confess to what happened and immediately go get checked for STDs.
 
You should definitely tell her. It is cheating either way, you know?
