Ok,well, it happens, so I'm not going to dwell on it. The pain that I have neccessitated (sp?) using the hydrocodone, but it didn't mean that I had to take as much as I did or as often as I did.
However, I have to say that I did not experience any withdrawals this time around. I was all ready to experience the worst flu, but it never came. I'm on day 6 and still nothing and I feel very well.
I think that the main reason I didn't get the symptoms this time is because I have been on Prozac for post partum depression for a few months now and it has fully kicked in. I've been able to take care of the kiRAB, house, my schoolwork and everything on my own.....even with my husband gone still. I've taken naps during the day when I put the kiRAB down, but that's only because I was getting over flu and the kiRAB all had it, so that made for some pretty long nights.
I feel great though and not stressed or anything. I just wanted to share this so that if you think wd's are total heck and worried about them, you don't need to be. Sometimes it's not that bad. To be honest, each time I've detoxed I've never had bad symptoms like others have experienced.
I'm also hoping that the physical therapy, yoga and meditation, are going to help with my L5-S1 back issue and the arthritis in my back and right hip. The power of positive thinking helps and even though I know that there will come a time again when I need the meRAB, I know where my jumping off point is. I only stayed on them for just over a month this time and when the pain was manageable by ibuprofin and neurotin, I quit the narcotics. I think I have a handle on things for now.
Hope everyone is having a good night.
