Beside getting a free WiFi connection, whats the point of cracking into someones Wireless router?
What kind of critical info can you get from a hacked router?
I have no intention on hacking into peoples routers but I am curious what could be so valuable to hack into a personal "home" router. I would totally understand if you could get SSN numbers or birth dates but from what I understand, all you can benefit is a free Wifi connection.
So let me get this straight...
If I am either hard wired or wireless through my router and someone hacks into my network while I am online, would it be possible to access the hard drives of the computers that are being used at the moment? I believe that is the original questions I am trying to get at...
