guys is there any article anyone knows about "pre-workout to weight weight",

what it means? i know pre-workout means food taking an hour or an hour and half an hour before workout. but can anybody explain/sent me any link which have explained about pre-workout completely. i mean i want to know what kind of food need to take,and why i must take carbohydrate and protein in pre-workout, and a complete information about pre-workout.
