My boyfriend dumped me Mar. 9th. We live 2hrs apart, but he was moving here this fall (for college). Then:“I dont think we’re ready for a LDR." So I mailed him a letter, and he called last Weds (AFTER HE GOT IT). He said "It's been building up for awhile. We don’t see each other enough. It’s not fair to us. I’m busy with drumline, and were both busy with school. I dont think i love you anymore. WE CANT make this work. Because would always know we broke up...I would like to be friends someday but right now I can‘t--I need a lot of time to get over you (wtf?)."(also as of our phone call..he hadnt told ANYONE--except his best friend that we broke uo). He told me 3 wks ago, for the 1ST TIME, he loved me.He baked me brownies that day.
"the love of my life, and you’re perfect for me.You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and for that I thank you. I love you"--(that’s a text from March 1st)
Why if he was having doubts, did he say that? Why wouldnt he have told me? After 6 mnths of daily communication, and me baking him cookies and sending them, and get well presents.
Before he called last Weds, I sent him an e-mail: “It’s coming…(not in an ominous connotation, but it sounds that way)” (referring to the letter). After our phone call, I never expected him to reply (there was no need).
I’ve movin on. but I somehow have kept getting this nagging feeling..it’s not over with him :\
THEN TUESDAY I CHECK MY EMAIL…AND THERE’S A REPLY FROM MY EX (a reply to the “it’s coming” comment). Just “What?”…He’s one of the smartest people I know, and based on the date I sent the original email, he knew I was referring to the letter. So WHY THE HELL DID HE REPLY? Not to mention he checks email often (when we were together he would even email me from class)--I KNOW he got IT last week. Why this week, did he reply? Is he maybe having some regret about his “build up decision”?
BTW..He broke up with the week b4 spring break. And his “drumline” he’s sooooo busy with suddenly…ends this weekend. And he will be bored. Out of his mind. Again
