guys help!! how can I be more approachable? would you talk to me?

I'm a senior in high school, I have a 4.9 G.P.A, and I'm attending Brown University next fall. I'm also a state champion swimmer. Physically I am 5 8', blonde hair(natural), blue eyes, and I am often called beautiful or hot by boys(sorry I know that sounds conceited!) The problem is that I am shy and the guys I'm attracted to seem scared to approach me. They will stare at me, but when they get in front of me they can't seem to say anything coherent. Any suggestions?
 
Absolutely! If you're as cute as you portray then the guys are intimidated by your looks. I know this sounds weird but I was in the same boat many years ago. I was REALLY attracted to a girl in university, she was gorgeous! I thought (the way all men think) she has a boyfriend and there is no way she could be attracted to me. And also...oftentimes, women who are beautiful can be very hurtful and laugh at any guy who has the balls to take the chance. Just do what that girl did for me in school....approach the man you want to get to know and you initiate the conversation....he might be like I was and stumble over words but let that slide, it won't be long before the two of you start a relationship.
