I'm talking to this guy i met on a social networking website, turned out he was a senior at my college, and while i had seen him around-we just never talked, i don't have his number so we communicate via face book. we were trying to schedule a coffee date but our plans fell through because of conflicting schedules. he had to cancel. i was quite bummed about it. but he apologized and asked to re set the date. any ways, that day he sent me a message saying "this impersonal form of communication isn't working" i assumed he was asking me for my number since we only talked through faceboook messages, but i wasn't sure. so i just said "the online medium can be tricky; i have never actually considered meeting some one i met online so this is new territory for me, under normal circumstances we would have exchanged phone numbers by now" is this off putting? i was giving him a hint.. i kind of wanted him to give me his number without me giving it to him first-especially because i wasn't sure if he was asking for mines?
