Guys..Do you think its weird when a girl...?

so lets say a girl is sitting a seat away from you and you guys have been in those seats for weeks without really talking to eachother but you look at each other sometimes. and then the next day, the girl says "hey (name)".

is that weird? to just start talking out-of-the-blue after a long time?


and if you don't think its weird, give some tips about starting conversation, etc.
