u know ur wrong just to agitate them?

goodneess!! this drives me insane. when he knows he's wrong and when i know he's wrong and he continues to argue with me. and we'll keep going until a point is proven, 90% of the time i'll be right too. wouldnt u think he'd see this pattern

God I know what you mean.

I think most of the men are like that. My brother is DEFINITELY like that. Whenever I prove him wrong, he always insists he's right and will never give in.

Seems to me you're both stubborn to be either right/wrong at something small and stupid that might lead to a dead end. If there's an actual point to what you're arguing to and it's important, you should prove him wrong but if it's something small.. then it's not worth it.

Just drop it or try to work something out but if that doesn't work, you both being stubborn will not help.

I get fed up with the arguing and say "I don't want to talk about it anymore. Change the subject."
After a few hours when everything cools down, I'll present my case with proof to back it up (if I'm right).
If I was wrong, I'll just say "You were right before, I'm sorry."

As to your problem, you're just as much to blame for escalating the argument.
Be the mature person and say "Yea, whatever you say."
After "the storm clears", you can joke about it and/or explain the reasoning behind your answer.
Men are more logical than woman and he may "see the light" of your explanation.
