I guess it depends if you were interested in her or not but how would you react and what would you think if a girl you went out to dinner with (almost a year ago) contacts you out of nowhere asking how you're doing?
(She was someone you pursued, got her number, asked out and after that first date, you just stop talking/hanging out...)
