Guy wants to sue me

I have a company of mine where I sell custom computers. Doing really well, been going on for about three months now, with no problems. Sold to around 30 or so customers. Everyone was happy till this one guy comes around. So this guy orders my most expensive computer I sell, which cost $2000. So anyways he pays up front through paypal, and I build his computer, then ship it off. So anyways this guy claims he never got his computer. The thing is, FedEx says it arrived, and still he says he didn't get it. So now the guy wants me to refund his money. What should I do?

Not refund it, if it shows it was received by him through fedex the problem is no longer in your hands, he either got it stolen before he got home to take it inside, or he's shitting with you to try and get his money and the computer.

Get a hold of Fedex. They will not leave a pkg that costs over 50 bucks or so! And someone did sign for it. Fedex will tell you when it was delivered and who signed for it. I know this for a fact I deal with them all the time!
You will need a tracking #, I assume you are smart and still have it.
If you have the tracking # available go
here and try it it may still be in the system. Otherwise get on the horn and prove that fucker wrong!

Fedex gets signatures for everything. you are not liable if someone at the shipping address signed for it. It is fedex's problem. Tell the dood to work it out with fedex

I agree with everyone else on this. Check with FedEx. Some ppl will just try to rip you off and that sounds like what's going on. U did your part by building and shipping the computer. Now that it's sent off it's out of your hands.

Not only that, but if after you've contacted FedEx, the guy is STILL on your ass, you might just have grounds to sue HIM.

If you may be out 2K, you might want to talk to a lawyer. Unless someone here can pretend to be a convincing lawyer.

I OBJECT! :thumbsdn:

We ordered a Laptop and the shipping (UPS) lost it, so they bought us a new one and took the loss.

Who knows... you might end up making another $2,000 out of this. But either way, once FedEx delivers it it's neither of your damn problems.

I'd be luckey if I could afford a lawyer. As where they can hire 100. Besides it's not big enough to sue over. I just told the guy to talk to FedEx. Cause I just found out in my terms and conditions, that after the product is shipped, I am no longer responsibe for any damage, or lost. :)
