Guy acting really weird.?

There is this guy in my sociology and psychology classes and he acts really strangely around me. I noticed him straight away and in psychology he kept staring at me. The next time I saw him in sociology there was only one seat left next too him so I sat down and we got on really well. After class I got up and left school and he was behind me, he then just ran over and asked where I was heading too and walked with me the whole way. He kept asking me questions and we where talking about how I had joined the school gym and he said in a joking way he would give me free personal training sessions and I then said i already had one of the p.e teachers doing it for me. Then he said nothing for a while and immediately asked me if i thought he was cute. Since then, he walks with me after class everyday and always smiles and chats every time he see's me. Does he see me as more than a friend or is it purely platonic? I don't know how too act around him at the moment.
