Even though I've played guitar for about year now (mostly self taught), and my level of playing is at that of being able to play rhythm guitar to say like the trooper or that was just your life, etc, I hardly know anything about solos. I look at a few, such as back in black, walk this way and others, and they seem straightforward enough but alot of them seem to have a pattern to it.
I know that dave mustaine practiced arpeggios alot to do his insane solos but I guess I dont get them. Can anyone explain and perhaps provide links to good soloing? that would be appreciated
