I made a guitar solo with the backing track in the key of D Phrygian which is just A# major and followed over the chord progression. All seven notes of this key are used in the backing track and my guitar teacher told me my only option was D Phrygian. I played a flatted fifth from A# major and it sounded the amazing with the blue note why is this.
