The other day I bought a used Memphis electric guitar at a pawn shop. Its a copy of a Fender MIM Strat. Everything worked when i bought it. on my way home i stoped at guitar center and bought a new pickguard and new nobs for it. When i got home i immediately changed out the pickguard and nobs, swapping all the electronics to the new pickguard. As soon as i was done I plugged it in, nothing. The electronics weren't working. I know for sure because i plugged my Gibson in and it worked just fine, so its not the amp or the cable. I took it apart and discovered a cable had come disconected so I soldered it back, but still nothing. Then i went to a local music store who said my output jack was wired backwards, i tried changing the wiring, but again nothing. I have looked up wiring diagrams and as far as i can tell I have everything wired correctly. So now I am at a loss, someone please help me. If you need additional info please let me know.
