I use Behringer Heavy Distortion (HD300) pedal on my Fender Frontman 65R. I play a Schecter Synyster Custom. The pedal isnt very loud and when I try to turn it up it gets really loud a couple seconds later. It has weird tone to it. It sounds clean and has a lot of gain even though its not set to sound like that. I've had this problem on my othrer guitar ( OLP John Petrucci signature series) before. Do I just need to leave the pedal unplugged for a while? Thats what I did last time and but I tried again and it didn't work.
