Guitar/Composing Question?

Okay:

I was playing around with my guitar today and here's my dilemma:

I have a capo on the second fret and I was playing a C, Em, G, and D.
My question: is what chords are those if I'm playing with a capo on the second fret? And are those chords in any key in particular? I would like to solo over them and come up with nice melodies, so I'd really like to what key it's in...
