I've seen many articles about Guillermo Habacuc Vargas, the artist who supposedly tied up a dog and let it starve to death, with "You Are What You Read" written in dog food on the wall behind it. However, I've also read that this was not completely true, that the dog was released instead of dying from starvation, etc.
Can anyone tell me anything about this situation? I'm a huge animal lover and I'd like to know what exactly went down. Was it a hoax or did the psycho really starve an animal as a so-called art exhibit?
