I'm going to a wedding (between a Chinese and Danish couple) on Long Island this weekend. The ceremony is outdoors and the reception is indoors. I know that the guayabera/ Cuban shirt is a type of formal wear for weddings (in Latin American countries). Is it appropriate to wear it to a wedding in North America? And what color should the shirt be?
