a Teaching Assistant? in Key Stages One, Two and Three. I want to apply for a GTP soon, to start next Sep. I would do it at the school I'm currently at, only problem is, it's a special school and I want to be in mainstream, so I presume when I'm qualified I'd be a bit limited to special schools? Also
1.) What subjects could I teach with History of Art degree? Just Art? Or is there the possibility of History or English as well?
2.) What if I can't get a TA job at a mainstream secondary school. Does that mean I can't get qualified full stop? Or is there a way of the TDA finding a school for me?
I have looked at th TDA website and rang quite a few people but I don't seem to be getting many answers.
Also I'd consider A-Level teaching. How do I get into this?
Any advice would be much appreciated
