So this is how my problem started. When I play San Andreas and I flight at high altitudes, the terrain suddenly disappears and seems to flash about. When I parachute from such altitudes and if I do not reach a low altitude such that the ground seems right again and attempt to open my chute, the game crashes. This has not been a particular problem for me, but I got really annoyed when I came upon the mission "Free Fall" where I had to flight up to sea and get to the back a plane through a corona (ring). When I do turn around the game crashes, and I could not proceed with the mission.
My version of San Andreas is not modified in any way. My question is: how can I fix such an issue? Is it my data files, something corrupt in the game directory? If anyone has any idea, I'd really like help. Thank you for reading this.
