This was and still is one of my favorite European shows.:D

If nobody remembers, it was about a 10 year old girl who was able to communicate with insects. That's because when she was a baby, she left on the doorstep of an abandoned mansion taken over by insects, and they raised her as one of her own. Her praying mantis mother was so sweet.:) Just be careful never to disturb Aunt Rose.:p

I just wanted to ask if anybody ever had a chance to see this series and had any thoughts about it.:)

My all-time favorite episodes are both beach episodes!:anime::D I also loved both episodes with Skipper, the Tarantula Boy.:D

Yeah, the series was a staple on Discovery Kids for many years. They showed practically the entire run, though I never realized this was a foreign show before.

The one question I'll never understand is why where Creepie and Chris-Alice friends? I mean two people's personalities couldn't have been more different. By all rights, Chris-Alice should have annoyed the hell out of Creepie and Creepie should have scared the hell out of Chris-Alice. Yet they're friends with each other and never think twice about it.

Personally I like the two eps featuring Tarantula boy. They show that even someone like Creepie can judge a book by it's cover sometimes.

No, it was from Mike Young Productions. However, that company has production studios both in Wales and Hollywood. I have it listed as a U.S. show in my Chronology of Animation.

I saw a few episodes of Growing Up Creepie after I watched out of curiosity. I was somewhat disappointed to learn that Creepie's shtick was that she was raised by bugs. Initially, I thought that Creepie was a witch or a goblin or a demon, which might have made for some slightly more interesting stories. The animation is a little stiff, but GUC wasn't the worst show that I've ever seen.

I do have to admit, the endings are annoying.

Yes, the "supernatual stuff that we don't believe is real, is real", but it's another thing to abuse the living hell out of it for 92% of the series.
