I know BP is a big organization.....and an article in the newspaper today estimated that BP's petrol sales in the region are down anywhere from 5-20 percent. My guess is the exposure to this incident could be maybe 100 billion dollars. it looks like the markets are noticing.

Well, still don't care.. If they cant make it through cleanup.. then they need to claim bankruptcy and fail. Not much more to say about it.

They can't survive as is with all the liability. They will be merged with the good stuff going to the aquiriing company, or their american operations will be cut off from the whole and take the liability with them. Its only a matter of time I think.

Fine.

BTW, you know that off the 33 mobile platforms in the entire world, 3 of the ones that are in the gulf, are leaving and won't be back for 2+ years, because another short sighted idiot, Obama, is placing holds on exploratory drilling there?

Wrap your head around the impact that will have on your WALLET in the coming years.
